BIO
Stefany Massi Paz is a multidisciplinary artist who works in painting, poetry, performance, and installation. Born in Brazil to Italian heritage and now based in London, her practice moves through the intersections of memory, migration, and cultural inheritance. Often drawn to what is unseen, discarded memories, unspoken aches, and ancestral echoes carried within the body, work embraces imperfection and resists resolution. Through visceral materials, light, sound, and gesture, she creates contemporary rituals that confront what we bury: grief, longing, tenderness, and survival.
Rooted in a layered cultural identity, Stefany weaves personal and collective memory into spaces of presence, where silence and shadow are given form. Her practice invites vulnerability and reflection, asking viewers to linger with what has been forgotten and to witness what endures.
